With the eyes of the world on the first Formula 1 Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia, it was about raising the bar and setting a new benchmark in digital experience from the get-go.
With only a 4 month countdown till the first ever Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia, my team and I were tasked with designing an app experience that would allow event attendees to buy and store tickets, stay updated with activities for the weekend, and have a handy tool in their pocket to navigate the 3km event space.
The final result was a best-in-class digital app to engage with motorsports fans across the Kingdom and the world attending this exciting event.



I worked with the developers very closely from the beginning to assess our design and functional limitations to be able to deliver for this rapid timeline.
Using the power of React Native and leveraging various Javascript-based components as templates, I guided the design team to build the app in a way that could allow the developers to build as turn-key as possible, while still giving a distinctive look-and-feel worthy of this monumental event.
